AUDIO VISUAL AND CONTROL SYSTEMS OVERVIEW

Project Brief:

To work with XBOX representatives on a suitable AV system to help demonstrate consumer based technologies and tell the story of how these devices interact with one another.

Also the area was to be used as a testing and gaming review lab.

Solution:

A large screen rear projection solution was installed offering FULL HD capabilities and multiple XBOX and computer connectivity ranging from HDMI, YUV and VGA input types.

By using a graphics processor we where able to allow up to five video inputs be displayed at any one time on the main rear projection screen.

All input switching and preset transitions are controlled via a windows based tablet and an AMX central control processor.

In addition single player gaming pods, additional projectors can all have content switched to them or be used as stand alone devices depending on the functionality required at the time.

A single small meeting room with Polycom video conferencing was also installed.

All audio systems are hidden, this includes a 100 volt line PA system for general room audio and a 7.1 audio system for use with the main screen presentations.

Localised headphone amplification for each player POD was also supplied and integrated.
